We enjoyed staying at Jennifer’s place. The location is beautiful — wooded and peaceful, but still convenient. It’s very near the lakeside path, Cherry Beach, and Red Arrow Roasters. The cruiser bikes are a nice way to get around as well! Her place is well situated and laid out for our family (with two tweens/teens and a dog).

Jennifer’s place is beautiful, spacious, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway! I had a fantastic birthday weekend here, enjoying time by the pool and exploring nearby local activities. I loved how close it is to a dog-friendly beach. Jennifer is a wonderful host, she provided thoughtful welcome touches and plenty of helpful information about the house and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful stay!

Jennifer's place was awesome! Exactly what we needed. House rules were easy to follow and check-in/check-out instructions were a breeze. Having the pool and hot tub there, for down time in between outings, was perfect. We used both every day. House was very spacious for the six of us. Plenty of beds for all! Location is great for heading to St Joe's or New Buffalo. We are particularly fond of Luisa's for breakfast and that's an easy walk down the street. We also walked to the beach, only 11 mins each way. A great place to stay if your looking in this area!

Jennifer is an excellent host and shares a lot of information about her beautiful home up front. Lots of thoughtful touches and the house is very well stocked! The pool/hot tub/grill area is perfect, private and comfortable. Landscaping around the home is stunning. The Swedish bakery is a must. We’d definitely stay again - thanks Jennifer!

Great place! 10 min walk to the beach. The hot tub, sauna, and dog park were lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. It was a great stay for the 6 of us plus our dog!

We had a great stay with our young children and our dog. The house was well equipped, the pool and the hot tub were great, with a lot of stylish chairs/sun beds. There’s also an adorable fire-pit with a screen for movie nights. The house was very clean, the kitchen well equipped. Walking distance to the beach plus a small, cute nature preserve a few min walk away. Thank you Jennifer!

First off, what a beautiful location. A wonderful beach is within a short 5 minute walk. The pool was the cleanest pool I’ve ever had at an AirBnb. The landscaping and various areas around the house were all so well-planned and made for a lovely time. The house was very clean and best yet - the beds were all very comfortable. Our host was fabulous, quick to respond and had some really great recommendations for the area. Highly recommend a stay here for a group of friends or a family.

We had a great stay! The apartment is in a very good location, beautifully renovated, clean, and tastefully decorated. It’s well equipped with kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, and all appliances are high quality and working perfectly. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. A major plus was the garage — although not attached to the unit (which is common in Chicago), it was spacious enough to fit our large SUV (Grand Wagoneer). A couple of things to keep in mind: the apartment can be a bit noisy, especially in the bedroom with the door to the stairwell. The A/C unit is right behind the wall, and you can clearly hear when people enter the building. Also, the bed in that room was not very comfortable, though the beds in the other rooms were great. These are minor points in an otherwise excellent stay. I highly recommend this apartment and would definitely return in the future!
